WELCOME

I have long needed a place where I could share my natural healthcare, home, personal hygiene, and other ideas.  (these do not necessarily fit into a nutrition site, or a recipe site, although they are sisters, hence, you will find links to my natural food site)

Here, I want to make available information for people who would like to live a more natural life, and use more natural products in that natural life. 

I have chosen live in New York City, and love my life here.  I believe it is possible to live a natural, peaceful life amid the hustle, bustle, and turmoil of this city which so energizes my very existence.  I have a pretty tree (where I found a baby kitty who has become my main man, if you want to know) right outside my window, so I can see nature (just so you know).

 Yes, New York has almost everything you could possibly want, except Southern food, but now, with the Internet, we can have more than we could possibly want, wherever we are (I sometimes wonder if I would have wandered so far from my Southern roots if there had been an Internet during my formative years).  The onliest herb and aromatherapy shop I knew of as a kid, New York’s Aphrodisia, is now one of the smallest providers, given the plethora of Internet providers around the country and around the world.  Although New York City does seem a veritable Alice’s Restaurant, if there is a second branch, I would say “you can get anything you want” on the Internet, nowadays.
