I’ve been dealing with eczema for more than 10 years now. I keep finding new things (I mean, things I didn’t know about before, that people suggest to do for eczema. Eczema is not fun.
I’ve been having a bout of eczema on my neck for three months now. It’s been pretty awful, because I have to wear turtleneck shirts and sweaters in order not to disgust the people all around me. I have to wash these shirts and sweaters daily because the eczma messes them up (gooey, ooh-y, yuck)
If you’ve read here before, you’ve seen my other suggestions, which I do use as a first resource (apple cider vinegar, apple cider vinegar with coconut oil, four thieves essential oil mix), and they all do good work, but, this time, after 3 months of agony dealing with this (and I don’t have health insurance . now), I saw one of those surprise/annoying/where did this come from emails in my email, and it was about rosemary essential oil (warning here: I am not currently affiliated with any seller, so I am not advertising, and you will have to do your own on-line search). Curiously, I had just recently purchased some rosemary oil from Fairway Supermarket (a cool local NYC supermarket), so I swiftly became interested. It turns out that rosemary oil can alleviate the suffering of eczema. So, a few minutes ago, I rubbed rosemary oil neat all over my “eczema: neck, and, 1/2 hr. later, I am not messing with the mess (if you have eczema, you know what I’m talking about: I am not rubbing, scratching, or stabbing…. actually, I am not even touching. Woo-hoo!
